What is Roundtable?

The BSA's Round Table training meeting is a monthly training session that serves multiple purposes. The allusion to Camelot's round table conjures up images of noble knights assembling to discuss the concerns of the people (Scouts) they serve.

Round Table is an opportunity for all Scouters to:
  • Learn more about upcoming activities.
  • Share program and planning ideas.
  • Interact with fellow Scouters who share the same enthusiasm for the Scouting program.

When is Roundtable?

Roundtable is the third Thursday of the month at 7:00pm

Past Roundtable Resources

November 2018 - Boy Scout Roundtable Resources: COLD WEATHER CAMPING

November featured one of Neuse River’s Commissioners and local Author, Chris Cancilla. Cold weather camping is the best!  No bugs and no bees, a peaceful camping experience. But what about YOU staying warm, how can you ensure you do not turn into a Scout-cicle!  November was filled with tips for sleeping in cold weather, cooking in cold weather, and generally living in cold weather for a couple days. You can download a copy of his handout if you missed this great break-out session.
