The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is ... to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

We would love to have as many Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and their families join us Saturday morning, April 13th @ 10am to enjoy the festivities (music and food trucks) and walk the Blue Loop. They will receive a “GO NC” t-shirt to wear and receive a wristwatch tattoo that will provide a voucher for the 0 to 60 exhibition upon finishing the mile loop.

The full title of the exhibition is 0 to 60; The experience of Time through Contemporary Art and runs March 24th through August 11th. The entire focus is time – real time, virtual time, historical time, recorded time, and the passage of time with the various artists using all different mediums (video, canvas, sculpture) to express time.

This is FREE, POSITIVE publicity! The event is FREE to Scouts AND their family. All guests receive a pass to get into the museum. I am asking for each district to get 1 unit to agree to come.

This is a great opportunity to show our support for the museum and the community! And for any scout who attends the event, I will count these miles towards your total for the District Hiking events! Be sure to wear your uniform!!!

Please let Greg Sanders know if you will be able to attend
